The Saudi Arabian Monetary Authority (SAMA) has set working hours for banks, transfer centers, and the Saudi system for rapid financial transfers, "SARIE" during the blessed month of Ramadan, as well as the Eid Al-Fitr holiday for the current year 1441 AH. In addition, SAMA published instructions regarding organizing the work of financial institutions "remotely" according to the controls Specific.

                SAMA clarified in a circular it that the daily working hours of bank branches during the working days of the holy month of Ramadan will be from (ten) in the morning until (two) in the evening, provided that these branches and their working times are announced through the available means.

                The daily working hours of the transfer centers from (seven) in the morning until (four) in the evening, according to the estimation of the transfer centers, provided that the working hours of these centers are not less than (5) hours per day, and that these centers and their working times are announced via Available means. The beginning of the blessed Eid Al-Fitr holiday is set at the end of work on Thursday 28/9/1441 AH corresponding to 5/21/2020 AD, provided that the banks will resume their work on Sunday 10/8/1441 AH corresponding to 5/31/2020 AD (according to the Umm Al-Qura calendar). Banks and transfer centers must open a number of their branches in places where the need calls for dealing with banks to work at certain times during the blessed Eid al-Fitr holiday, and inform SAMA of the names of these branches and their dates of operation and announce that by appropriate means.

                Regarding the Saudi system of rapid financial transfers, "SARIE", SAMA clarified that the working hours of the "SARIE" system during the working days of the holy month of Ramadan will be from ten in the morning to four in the afternoon. The work of the system ends during the holy month by the end of work on Thursday 28/9/1441 AH corresponding to 05/21/2020 AD. The return to work will be on Tuesday 10/3/1441 AH corresponding to 05/26/2020 AD (according to the Umm al-Qura calendar). The clearing houses will operate in accordance with SARIE hours and working days.
