The Saudi Central Bank (SAMA) announced the completion of an electronic link with the Ministry of Finance to process requests relating to the bank accounts of government agencies held at Saudi commercial bank through the online portal "Hesaab", The launch of the portal achieves one of the initiatives of the National Transformation Program 2020 that improves the level of financial services and is in line with the Kingdom's Vision 2030.

SAMA clarified that the above step, one of SAMA's initiative to establish an electronic link with stakeholders, emphasizes the importance of continuous improvement and development of procedures by understanding Stakeholders' needs, minimizing obstacles and achieves high quality services and common goals.

SAMA also drew attention to its efforts to improve and expedite the procedures related to requests for Government Agencies' bank accounts received from the Ministry of Finance by implementing technical solutions with minimal human intervention, thus raising the quality of procedures, improving turnaround time and easing the access to these accounts.
