The Saudi Central Bank (SAMA) announced this year's launch of its specialized program, the Professional Learning Partnership, in support of the financial services industry in the Kingdom.
The program targets recent Saudi graduates (Bachelor's and Master's level) of accredited local or international universities. The candidates will have the opportunity to preference their selection into the program among 5 key departments within the organization (Insurance Control; Finance Companies Control; Monetary Policy; Financial Stability and Business Technology (IT).
The program aims at equipping graduates with practical skills and knowledge to boost their professional opportunities in the financial services sector. It will consist of a dynamic blended learning approach including: Rotations in the relevant department; interactive classroom learning; hands-on behavioral and technical coaching; site visits; on-going evaluation & feedback; various professional certifications and a team project and presentation.
SAMA clarified that the program will last for six months beginning in the September timeframe, 2021. Trainees will be provided with an attractive compensation and benefits package throughout the duration of the program.
Acceptance into the program will be highly selective. SAMA invites interested individuals to apply to the program through it's (website). The registration period runs from May 4 until May 27, 2021.
SAMA stipulated that the applicant's basic requirements are the following: Saudi national; candidates must commit to completing the program; recent recipients of a bachelor's or master's degree in a relevant field from an accredited Saudi or international university; a minimal grade point average of "very good" or equivalent; and a strong level of English.
The selection process consists of several steps. Candidates advancing to the next steps will be notified of such as the process unfolds. The last step of the process will entail an on-site interview and presentation at SAMA's Riyadh headquarters.
