Under the patronage of H.E. Mr. Ayman M. Al-Sayari, Governor of the Saudi Central Bank (SAMA), the Autism Center of Excellence celebrated the completion of all of its operational phases on Wednesday 28/05/2025 in Riyadh.

The celebration was attended by H.E. Ismail S. Al-Ghamdi, Assistant Minister at the Ministry of Human Recourses and Social Development (MHRSD​), and H.E. Majed A. Al-Ghanimi, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Autism Center of Excellence, together with several esteemed CEOs and chairs of boards of the supporting banks.

The ceremony started with a video presentation showcasing the progress of the Autism Center of Excellence and highlighting its key achievements since its official opening in November 2020. After that, the ceremony sponsor recognized the Saudi banks that have supported the Autism Center of Excellence Project.

The Autism Center of Excellence is the result of collaborative efforts by SAMA and MHRSD, generously supported by Saudi banks, with the goal of creating a positive and sustainable impact on society.

The Autism Center of Excellence is one of the leading national centers in the field of autism. It has well-trained national cadres essential to achieving its objectives of becoming a scientific reference and a rehabilitation center for individuals with autism spectrum disorder. The center offers scientific courses and supports specialized research in autism. Additionally, it aims to empower individuals with autism to achieve maximum independence and social integration. It also provides families with essential support, vocational training and housing solutions. The center's mission aligns with Saudi Vision 2030, which places great importance on improving the quality of life, developing rehabilitative and health services, and enhancing the role of the third sector to become a global competitor.​
