In reference to the supreme directive of the extension of the National Day holiday to Monday, September 24, 2018; and further to SAMA's circular on the National Day Holiday for the year 1440H forwarded to financial institutions supervised by SAMA, it has been decided as follows:
Monday, Muharram 14, 1440H (24/09/2018) is an official holiday for all financial institutions supervised by SAMA. In addition, SAMA emphasizes that banks shall keep a number of their branches open in important places where dealing directly with branches is necessary as well as in different airports and at border crossings. SAMA asks banks to announce their operating branches through appropriate means.
