Dear Audience,

Greetings, 

In less than nine months, and for the second time, I have been presented the opportunity to witness a leading community initiative that brings about a palpable model indicating strong loyalty of our banking institutions and their ardent commitment to social responsibility. These loyalty and commitment have long been one of the main banners of their overarching developmental role in serving the national economy and meeting the needs of the domestic community.

Undoubtedly, housing and urban development sector has long stood at the forefront of the priorities of Saudi banks as evident in their qualitative achievements that have targeted citizens. Such achievements have enabled citizens to acquire suitable housing that have guaranteed for them the long-sought livelihood stability. This has been achieved through facilitated financing solutions on one end, and through robust partnerships entered into with the Ministry of Housing and the Real Estate Development Fund on the other end. The partnership is aimed at translating the package of programs launched by both the ministry and the fund to expand the base of national homeownerships and expedite the rate at which necessary funding is extended. This expedited process aims to relieve citizens of the burden of waiting, which has always been a source of concern and anxiousness for many of them.

This initiative is deemed a unique model for community effort and a source of pride. It confirms the depth of the loyalty of our banking institutions, their firm commitment to social responsibility, and their leading position among those responding to the calls and directions of our prudent government, may Allah bless it with pride and longevity as to be able to serve the well-being and prosperity of the nation and all its people.

Stemming from the affinity that binds our citizenry, loyalty to our nation, and desire to create added social values and contribute to the sustainable development process, we aspire to more initiatives from all banks, finance companies and insurance companies as serving the nation—while valuing the responsibilities we have towards it—is the most exalted of virtues.

Dear Audience,

Samba Community Housing Initiative, which is bearing fruit today, is not only added to the achievement records of Samba Financial Group, but it has also proved itself to be a leading experience in which Saudi banks, and the banking sector at large, find pride. The banking sector has always been loyal to the nation and all citizens, taking the lead when fulfilling the directions of our prudent government in terms of providing decent life for all citizens and bringing prosperity to our nation and beloved Kingdom.

Finally, I would like to extend my thanks and appreciation to Samba Financial Group, represented by Mr. Eisa bin Mohammed Al-Eisa, Chairman of its Board of Directors, and to all the efforts that have brought success to this development initiative. I would also like to congratulate all entitled households who benefited from such initiative.
