SAMA represented by the General Department of Insurance Control has launched recently The Advanced Insurance Diploma Program (ACII) in cooperation with the Financial Institute in Riyadh. The program runs for two years and a half in two phases. It aims to raise the efficiency of the Saudi employees in the technical insurance sector by granting them the opportunity to obtain a professional certificate in the field of insurance in order to train and qualify the financial sector's employees as one of the initiative of the Financial Sector Development Program as part of the Kingdom vision 2030.

       According to SAMA's statement, the total number of candidates by the insurance companies reached 60 male and female. They are the only once who are subject to the terms of admission to enter the final stage. Candidates were also subject to several stages of the acceptance process in order to select 12 candidates to join the program, which is fully sponsored by Saudi Arabian Monetary Authority with the aim of qualifying and developing employees in the insurance sector.

      SAMA pointed out that trainees will receive an ACII certified diploma from the Bahrain Institute of Banking and Finance, which is awarded by the Charted Insurance Institute (CII).
