The Saudi Central Bank announces the opening of applications for the Saudi Economists Program (Batch 19) for both genders. This program grants a scholarship to study abroad for a master's and Ph.D. degrees in economics from universities accredited by the Central Bank and recommended by the Ministry of Education.

The Central Bank indicated that the registration period has started on Sunday 01/08/2021 and end on Saturday 28/08/2021. The program is targeting Saudi nationals holding a master's degree in economics or a bachelor's degree from an accredited Saudi or international university with a GPA of 'Very Good' and higher, or its equivalent, in one of the following majors: (economics, business administration with minor in finance, accounting, MIS, operations research, mathematics, statistics, quantitative methods, engineering, computer science, physics, finance and investment). In addition, the applicant must provide a certificate of equivalence from the Ministry of Education if the certificate was issued outside the Kingdom. Also, provide an English language test result that is no older than two years prior to the date of applying to the program, according to the following: (For graduates of domestic universities:  TOEFL IBT 60 or Academic IELTS 6, and for graduates of overseas universities: TOEFL IBT 79 or Academic IELTS 6.5).

The requirements of the program were also specified that the applicant's age should not be more than (27) years old for a bachelor's degree holder and (30) years old for a master's holder. Also, the applicant must pass behavioral and technical assessments and interviews and complete the preparation requirements of the program held by the Central Bank during the first year of the employment contract.
