                In addition to the announcement of the Saudi Arabian Monetary Authority (SAMA) on 11/27/1438 corresponding to 08/19/2017, which included preventing the Saudi Indian company for cooperative insurance (wafa) from accepting compulsory vehicle insurance subscribers, thus preventing it from issuing or renewing any compulsory insurance policy on new vehicles as of today. from the date of 11/28/1438 corresponding to 08/20/2017.

                SAMA announces that it has decided to allow the Saudi Indian company for cooperative insurance (wafa) to accept new subscribers in compulsory vehicle insurance, and thus allow it to issue and renew compulsory vehicle insurance policies as of Thursday 10/04/1439 corresponding to 12/28/2017.

 

                This was after the company had dealt with SAMA's observations and confirmed its commitment to the standards and requirements that guarantee the rights of customers and beneficiaries of insurance coverage and without prejudice to pricing through the continuous development of the internal audit system, compliance management and the company's internal control procedures. It affirmed its commitment to continuing to implement the corrective actions based on the company.
