Today, Wednesday, 3 Dhu al-Qi'dah 1438 AH corresponding to July 26, 2017, the Saudi Arabian Monetary Authority (SAMA) issued a circular according to which insurance companies operating in vehicle insurance are committed to an exceptional campaign starting from 1/8/2017 until the end of 2017 AD. Insurance companies grants a discount for no claims for one year (10% - 15%) for individuals. This includes either comprehensive or compulsory insurance for drivers who did not cause traffic accidents for at least one Gregorian year prior to the date of the application. Noting that applicant to ear this discount must not get another deduction because their vehicles were new or because they did not possess a previous insurance policy, or because the previous insurance policy had passed more than a month ago.

SAMA confirmed that the aim of this discount is to enable the largest number of insurance applicants to benefit from the deduction of no claims for vehicle insurance, and to motivate those who are committed to safe driving to continue to insure their vehicles and in order to encourage traffic safety and increase the number of Insured.

SAMA invites all citizens and residents who are entitled to this discount to take advantage of this exceptional campaign and initiate insurance for their vehicles. in the event that none of the insurance companies responds to presenting the aforementioned discount, SAMA urges to file a complaint with the Client Protection Department through its website or By calling the toll-free number 8001256666.
