Within the framework of the Saudi Arabian Monetary
Authority’s keenness to protect the rights of the insureds and beneficiaries of
the insurance coverage and consolidate the stability of the insurance sector
and prevent irregular practices in the insurance sector and in accordance with
Article 18 of the Cooperative Insurance Companies Control Law issued by Royal
Decree No. (M/32) dated on 1424/06/02, and Article (76) of the Executive
Regulations of the Cooperative Insurance Companies Control Law.
SAMA announces that the following companies:

Observation.

Al-tayyar for cooperative
insurance.
3.
Dar Myar for cooperative
insurance.
4.
Insurance House Agency (Dar
al-ta’ameen) for insurance.
5.
Dohil agency for insurance.
6.
Majal Al-wifaq agency for
insurance.
7.
Al-hlool al-sahla agency
for insurance.
8.
Al-tawwon Al-olaa agency
for insurance.
9.
Medadd Al-aman agency for
insurance.
10.
Eatimad agency for
insurance.
11.
Al-majmoah al-mehaniah
agency for insurance.
12.
Al-muheet Al-hadith agency
for insurance.
13.
Emtithal al-mutahidah
agency for insurance.
14.
Waseelh agency for
insurance.
All of the above did not fully
comply with regulatory requirements and instructions related to the practice of
insurance activities and did not respond to the communication of SAMA through
its addresses listed at SAMA. SAMA calls up on these companies to expedite
correcting their situation within a period of 20 business days from the date of
this announcement; otherwise SAMA will initiate license withdrawal procedures.
SAMA also calls those beneficiaries and insureds who has a complaint against
one of these companies to review Consumer Protection Department or through SAMA
website WWW.SAMA.GOV.SA
or through the Toll free 8001256666.
