SAMA Participates in Al-Janadriyah Festival
for 1435 H

 

SAMA is participating in the 29th National Festival for Heritage and Culture for 1435H at the Janadriyah festival. SAMA�s pavilion contains a currency museum, exhibiting currencies used throughout history. It also displays currencies used in the pre-Islamic era, and Islamic currencies used in the early history of Islam up to the time of the Saudi currency in our present time.

In addition, there is a cultural corner for acquainting visitors with how banknotes are made and what printing materials are used for this purpose, as well as other educational subjects about the identification of security features of the Saudi currency.

A number of SAMA employees with expertise in the fields of banking, insurance, finance and related technologies will also participate to answer questions and enquiries raised by visitors of the festival.
