The Saudi Arabian Monetary Authority (SAMA) as a supervisory and control authority and in application of Article 18 of the Cooperative Insurance Control Law issued on the Royal decree No. (32/M) dated on 2 / 6 / 1424, and Article No. 76 of the executive regulations of the Cooperative Insurance Control Law, SAMA decided to suspend the activities of the following companies:
- Mada Al-edarah for Insurance claims company.
- The Saudi Insurance management for Medical Insurance Claims.
- Saudi Crawford Company for Inspection and Loss Assessment Limited.
Starting from 26 / 7 / 1439 corresponding to 12 / 4 / 2018 due to the companies' incompliant to the regulatory requirements of the Cooperative Insurance Control Law and its executive regulations and instructions.
SAMA will take whatever necessary actions against these mentioned companies according to the Cooperative Insurance Control Law.
This decision comes in line with SAMA keenness to protect insureds and beneficiaries of the insurance coverage, maintain stabilizing the insurance sector and to prevent illegal practices.
SAMA calls upon insureds and beneficiaries who has claims against one of these companies to file a complaint at the Consumer Protection Department through SAMACARES.SA or Toll Free 8001256666.
