SAMA’s announcement regarding lifting the suspension of the Saudi Takaful Company, insurance agents, from issuing and renewing any insurance policy

                In addition to the announcement of the Saudi Arabian Monetary Authority on 11/27/1438 AH corresponding to 08/19/2017 AD, which included preventing the Saudi Takaful Company from insurance agents from accepting mandatory vehicle insurance subscribers, and thus preventing it from issuing or renewing any vehicle insurance policy as of 11/28 / 1438 AH corresponding to 08/20/2017 AD.

  SAMA decided to allow the Saudi Takaful Company as insurance agents to practice insurance agency activity, as of Wednesday 04/16/1439 AH corresponding to 01/01/2018 AD.

 

                In addition to the announcement of the Saudi Arabian Monetary Agency on 11/27/1438 AH corresponding to 08/19/2017 AD, which included preventing the Saudi Takaful Company from insurance agents from accepting mandatory vehicle insurance subscribers, and thus preventing it from issuing or renewing any vehicle insurance policy as of 11/28/ 1438 AH corresponding to 08/20/2017 AD.

                After the company addressed the observations of SAMA upon suspension and affirmed its commitment not to deal with unauthorized persons, and to address technical weaknesses, internal control procedures and compliance in the company. It affirmed its commitment to continue implementing the corrective measures based on the company.
