It is organized by the Financial Institute "affiliated to the Saudi Arabian Monetary Authority", as part of the SAMA's strategy in qualifying and developing Saudi cadres to work in the insurance sector with high efficiency and quality. It will provide training programs And the qualification needed by the insurance industry and specialized professional certificates that enable Saudi youth to work in the insurance sector efficiently and professionally.
The preparatory program for the insurance industry targets fresh graduates with bachelors and diplomas and will be held in Riyadh, Dammam and Jeddah and will last for three months and under joint supervision between the Financial Institute and the insurance companies with the aim of developing the national manpower, building their professional capabilities and enhancing insurance skills and knowledge for Saudi youth who wish to work in the sector. This should enable national cadres to occupy professional and administration position in the insurance sector.
Moreover, the program includes a practical application for a period of ten working days at an insurance company, and the program is divided into four phases, starting with the foundation phase. It start by dealing with the fundamentals of the insurance industry and then the scientific phase that deals with types of insurance such as: medical insurance, vehicle insurance, property insurance, customer service and self-management. Then comes the practical phase, which deals with training within an insurance company for ten days, and finally the technical phase, which deals with studying the basics in the underwriting process, claims in insurance and the basics of insurance sales.
