The Saudi Central Bank and the Council of Cooperative Health Insurance (CCHI) announced updating insurance policies for non-Saudi visitors coming from abroad for the purposes of tourism, visit and Umrah, by adding coverage for risks related to Covid-19 infection.

The addition of this coverage aims to provide the needed health care for non-Saudis insureds exposed to infection with Coronavirus (Covid-19), who are coming from abroad for the purposes of tourism, visit and Umrah; this should contribute to the safety of all and ensure hasty and stress-free access to health services.

The updated insurance policy provides insurance coverage for cost of treatment, cost of quarantine procedures and emergency evacuation as well.
