SAMA urges financing bodies to provide their services through the "Tamweel" portal

The Saudi Arabian Monetary Authority urged financing agencies (banks and finance companies) to provide their services to entrepreneurs and owners of micro, small and medium enterprises through the electronic portal "tamweel" approved by the general authority for small and medium enterprises "monshaat", and to benefit from the services provided through it and processing the requests that come to the portal within the specified times, as one of the advantages of this portal is opening the door for competition between financing agencies to provide appropriate financing offers to these establishments and save time and effort, which would help raise the rate of lending and investment and develop the economy.

 

                This comes out from the role of the Saudi Arabian Monetary Authority in maintaining monetary and financial stability and supporting balanced and sustainable economic growth, including enabling the financial sector to support the growth of the private sector, and SAMA's strategy supporting activating the use of electronic channels to upgrade the level of services provided, thus contributing to achieving the vision kingdom 2030. In addition to continuous and fruitful cooperation with all relevant government agencies to serve the public interest.

The online portal "tamweel" approved by the general authority for small and medium enterprises "monsha'at" is a portal that brings together entrepreneurs and owners of small and medium enterprises looking for financing with the licensed financing agencies.
