Al-Humoud Thanks Leadership for Royal Trust and Appointment as Vice Governor for Technical Affairs at SAMA

Mr. Talal F. Al-Humoud, Vice Governor for Technical Affairs at the Saudi Central Bank (SAMA), expressed his utmost gratitude to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al-Saud, and His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al-Saud, Crown Prince and Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, for the confidence placed in him through his appointment as Vice Governor for Technical Affairs at SAMA.

Mr. Talal Al-Humoud holds bachelor's degrees in economics from the University of British Columbia and business administration (finance) from Simon Fraser University, Vancouver, Canada. Prior to his appointment as Vice Governor for Technical Affairs, Mr. Al-Humoud served as Assistant Governor for Monetary Affairs at SAMA from February 2024, and as Deputy Governor for Investment (2022-2024). He previously held several key positions at SAMA, including Director of the Reserves Management Department from 2017 to 2022, Head of the External Fixed Income Division from 2013 to 2017, and Acting Head of the Fixed Income and Alternatives Division from 2011 to 2013. Mr. Al-Humoud joined SAMA as an Investment Analyst in 2009.

Mr. Al-Humoud is a member of the Board of Directors at the Saudi Fund for Development and is a member of several SAMA committees.​
