The Saudi Central Bank (SAMA) announces the cabinet's approval to license a new digital bank in Saudi Arabia “EZ Bank", with a capital of SAR 2.5 billion.

 ​The license of “EZ Bank" brings the total number of licensed banks in the Kingdom to 39, including 15 Saudi banks and 24 foreign bank branches, reflecting the strength, resilience, and attractiveness of the banking sector in particular and the Saudi economy in general.
