The Saudi Central Bank (SAMA) announced the licensing of the “Bawabat Al-Umulat Exchange" company to purchase, sell, and trade foreign currencies in Saudi Arabia, bringing the total number of licensed money exchangers in Saudi Arabia to 65.

This decision reflects SAMA's endeavor to support and enable the money exchange industry, increase the efficiency of financial transactions, and promote financial inclusion in Saudi Arabia.
