On Friday, December 29, 2023, the Council of the Islamic Financial Services Board (IFSB) concluded its 43rd meeting under the chairmanship of H.E. Ayman Al-Sayari, Governor of the Saudi Central Bank (SAMA) and Chairman of the IFSB.

Discussions during the meeting centered around recent developments in the Islamic finance industry and various approaches to enhance its resilience and stability. Finally, the participants endorsed the strategic action plan for the year 2024.

The Governor expressed his sincere appreciation to the Secretariat, technical and executive committees, of the Board for their diligent efforts in preparing the agenda and ensuring the smooth progress of the Board's proceedings.
